Kazdağları'nda ikamet ettiğim 2023 yaz-sonbahar sürecinde, yerel-yaban bitki türlerini ve bu türlerin beden üzerindeki etkilerine dair bir heyecana kapıldım. Yaban meyveleri tadarak, toplayarak ve saklama yöntemlerini araştırarak başladığım süreç, bitkilerin potansiyellerini bedene uyumlamanın, ilaç yapımının çeşitli yollarını öğrendiğim çevrimiçi kurslarla devam etti.
Slehe Vily, bu anlamlandırma sürecinin ilk çıktılarını oluşturuyor.
Bu öğrenme sürecinde ürettiğim bitkisel kürlerle bağlantılı olarak, kürlerin bedene nasıl etkiler yapabileceğine, nasıl vuku bulabileceğine dair keşifler içeren bazı yazılar, denemeler, hikayeler ortaya çıktı. Kullandığım yaban türlerin hikayelerini, folklördeki yerlerini, kültürel imlerini refere eden bu metinler kürlere eşlik eden bir edebiyat projesine dönüştü.
Bitkilerden öğrendiklerimi aktarmaya niyet ettiğim bir proje olarak Slehe Vily, bir eczane parodisi olarak iyileşmenin sonsuz olasılıklarını keşfetmeyi ve meraklı herkesle paylaşmayı amaçlıyor.

During the summer-autumn of 2023, when I started to live in Mount Ida, I became fascinated with the local wild plant species and their effects on the body. The process started with tasting, collecting and preserving wild berries, and continued with online courses where I learned various ways of harmonizing the potential of plants to the body and making medicines.
Slehe Vily is the first output of this process of meaning-making.
In connection with the herbal cures I produced during this learning process, some writings, essays, stories emerged that contain discoveries about how cures can affect the body, what they can manifest. These texts, which also refer to the stories of the wild species I use, their place in folklore and their cultural implications, have turned into a literary project in conjunction with the cures.
As a project in which I intend to pass on what I have learned from plants, Slehe Vily - as a parody of a pharmacy - aims to explore the infinite possibilities of healing and share them with anyone who is keen.
